Speaking of The NHL; great matchups !!! The New York Rangers take on The Washington Capitals. New York was the nation's first capital back in the days of the 13 colonies; and when we went to 50 states, D.C. became the nation's capital. Also in the east; we have The Philadelphia Flyers facing the New Jersey Devils. And the distance between Philly & The Prudential Center in New Jersey is about 1hr and 40mins. (Talk about a rivalry) Now we dip out west; as the Los Angeles Kings take on the St. Louis Blues; two very historic franchises... As we wrap-up the west; we end with two more American teams; as the Phoenix Cyotes take on the Nashville Pretadors. (Awesome) But there's something even more awesome about these playoffs....(Yeah) The Great One: Wayne Gretzky, played for The Los Angeles Kings (1988 - 1995) The St. Louis Blues (1995 - 1996) & The New York Rangers (1997 - 1999), and also coached The Phoenix Cyotes from (2005 - 2009 )
