"College Football's four team playoff"

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- "Football Bowl Subdivision conference commissioners, Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick and other college football officials Thursday agreed to eliminate eight-team and 16-team playoff proposals to determine the sport's future national champions, but settled on very little else during weeklong meetings at a beachside resort here.
After meetings Thursday, BCS spokesman Bill Hancock said the sport's 11 FBS conference commissioners would take "two to seven" playoff proposals -- each involving four teams -- back to their respective university presidents, athletic directors and coaches to discuss for the next five to seven weeks."... BCS officials and conference commissioners are scheduled to meet in Chicago again in June. "Any proposed changes wouldn't go into effect until the 2014 season. As we wrap-up the west; we end with two more American teams; as the Phoenix Cyotes take on the Nashville Pretadors. (Awesome) But there's something even more awesome about these playoffs....(Yeah) The Great One: Wayne Gretzky, played for The Los Angeles Kings (1988 - 1995) The St. Louis Blues (1995 - 1996) & The New York Rangers (1997 - 1999), and also coached The Phoenix Cyotes from (2005 - 2009 )

What these people have said and done is unforgivable. I hope they are now publicly identified and pay a huge price for their beliefs. There should be zero tolerance for this kind of hate mongering. Their messages should now stay glued into the algorithms to place a forever warning and a mark upon these people and their actions. They shouldn’t be able to escape their keystrokes.
We will as an organization support Joel Ward. He has been a great teammate and a great citizen. He is now the star of stars in our city for his heroics last night. He is a friend and a fantastic player – who delivered – as advertised for us and our fans in the playoffs."

A soccer ball owned by 16-year-old Misaki Murakami from Rikuzentakata, Japan; was found on the Alaskan shore by a radar technician,  David Baxter. The ball was washed over to U.S. shores by way of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_T%C5%8Dhoku_earthquake_and_tsunami. David Baxter's wife, who happens to be Japanese was able to translate the inscriptions on the ball itself. The writing on the ball is from Murakami's 3rd grade classmates from his former elementary school. Mr. Baxter and his wife plan on mailing the 16-yr-old his ball sometime this week.
